Citrix App Google Chrome

The new Citrix Workspace app (formerly known as Citrix Receiver) provides a great user experience - a secure, contextual, and unified workspace - on any device. It gives you instant access to all.

Hello,

  • 40 new features for Google Meet such as mute all, remove all, auto admit, emojis, mirror videos, background color, and push to talk! Google Meet Enhancement Suite 131.
  • Citrix Receiver for Chrome product software. Citrix Workspace App Workspace app for Chrome Subscribe to RSS notifications of new downloads.
  • As a result, Google Chrome users might experience slow logons or logoffs. This issue occurs because some files associated with Google Chrome can grow large. To improve the user experience with Google Chrome, do the following: Add the following folder to the list of folders to mirror: AppData Local Google Chrome User Data Default.
  • I use Citrix to be able to log into my work PC from home. Previously, I found a way to force chrome to download the.ica files, instead of automatically opening them in chrome. IMHO, the in-browser version is totally horrible, and the actual Citrix Workspace app is fully functional, and 100 times more usable.

We are using HP Thin Clients with Google Chrome to connect to our Citrix environment.

Is there a way to get past the 'Detect Receiver' window when entering our Storefront URL? or is there a way to automate that process?

We're updating the Thin Clients through a management console scripted.. so we can't use any user input. Also the Thin Clients have a Write Filter that is enabled. This means that everything done locally by the user will be forgotten after a restart.

When we choose 'Detect Receiver' and 'Already Installed' it works like a charm. Does it store these settings somewhere locally (registry or file)? If so, we could capture those settings and deploy them to all Thin Clients when updating them..

We already tried to set 'pluginAssistant' to false (did nothing) and 'protocolhandlers' to false ('Detect Receiver' is gone.. but won't use local receiver anymore, just HTML).
